| In 1925 the school had two Head
Teachers. Mr. Melbourne (Juniors ) and Miss Fisher (Infants ). In November
1925 Miss Fisher wrote in the Log Book :- We had a Jumble Sale
in Mr Melbourne's School today, both schools combining and sharing any profits. £10.
0. 5 was raised. Mr. Melbourne gave me £5. We bought pictures for the school,
library books, necessary books for the teachers library, song books and Christmas presents
for the children. In 1926 Miss
Fisher left to get married and Miss Fanny Rawding became Head of the Infant department. |
